Kato 2-8-2 Heavy Mikado:
The USRA Heavy Mikado, oftentimes referred to as the "Mike", first saw service after World War I, under the United States Railroad Administration.
Using a 2-8-2 wheel arrangement (one unpowered axle, four driving axles, and one unpowered trailing axle), this wheel setup allows the locomotive
to be built with the firebox behind the driving wheels instead of above, allowing a larger capacity firebox and therefore more power and speed than
a similar 2-8-0 steam locomotive.
